Fire breaks out at Raspadskaya mine, services to evacuate 181 ppl

MOSCOW, Apr 19 (PRIME) -- A fire broke out at a mine of Russian coal producer Raspadskaya in the Kemerovo Region, the emergency services are evacuating 181 miners from the site, a representative of the emergency services told PRIME on Wednesday.

“Evacuation of 181 miners is going on because of a fire,” the representative said.

The representative added that the services were in touch with all the miners and trying to investigate the cause of the incident.
